Upper School (7th - 10th Grade)
At Jacksonville Classical Academy (JXC, students in 7th-10th grade experience a transformative education that blends the rigor of classical learning with a focus on academic excellence, character development, and leadership. Rooted in the timeless principles of Western civilization, JXC's curriculum immerses students in the great works of literature, philosophy, history, mathematics, and the sciences. Students explore foundational texts that span centuries, from the writings of Homer and Shakespeare to the principles of logic and natural science, all while honing critical thinking and analytical skills.
Academically, JXC offers a challenging pathway with Advanced Placement (AP) courses and dual enrollment options, providing students the opportunity to engage in college-level coursework. Whether they’re studying advanced calculus, world history, or literature, students are pushed to think deeply, reason logically, and articulate their ideas clearly, preparing them for success in higher education and beyond.
