Jacksonville Classical Academy began the preschool program at the Riverside Campus in the Fall of 2023. The Fort Caroline Campus will open the preschool program in the Fall of 2024!

 

The Florida's Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program or VPK is a FREE educational program that prepares 4-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond. Children must live in Florida and be four on or before September 1 of the school year they apply. Early childhood is a time to nurture a love of learning with a positive experience in a school environment that provides an opportunity for children to develop their creativity and natural curiosity with engaging and energetic teachers.  Our goal is to help each child reach their greatest potential – intellectually, physically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally. Our state certified teachers are experts in early childhood development. The activities they provide allow students to explore concepts in early literacy, mathematics, science, and history while increasing fine motor, social and emotional capabilities.  Our preschool program offers an introduction to Classical Education that students will continue to build on  in our lower and upper school.

• Approximately 18 students in each class

• 5-day program Monday-Friday, 8:00-11:00am (no fee, covered by VPK voucher)

• Extended day options available:

  • Registration Fee (annual): $105

  • Aftercare (11-3pm): $390 per month

  • Aftercare (11-6pm): $675 per month
